$10,000.

That’s the number so many try to achieve.

And tons of influencers feed you the same bullshit:

“Start affiliate marketing!”

“Dropshipping is the best!”

“Ghostwriting is the best way to make $10k!”

Everybody tells you what to do, but nobody actually shows how they did it.

Isn’t it annoying?

They only show you after you buy their $5000 course. I wasn’t happy to see it as a brokie student.

But since I sort of started this journey myself - I want to be different.

I will try to document every choice I make in as much detail as possible.

Let’s call this Road to $10k.

So I’m currently at $54 / $10,000.

0,54% of the way there 🫠

So here’s what I did to earn those first bucks:

1. A year ago I opened my Notion template shop on Gumroad and put out my first one.

2. I launched more than 10, some of them free, some paid.

3. Posted some tips and tricks about Notion and my templates on Instagram along the way.

4. I got 1 sale of a template priced at $49 and one priced $5.

As you can see it wasn’t very lucrative, but another lie I stopped believing is sticking with something until it works.

I enjoy Notion and use it every day, but it became boring and repetitive.

That’s why I’m making a new bet - it’s more connected with my interests and has a much bigger potential.

I will still have the template shop open and put a template there from time to time, but it’s not going to be my priority anymore.

(Sorry for my subscribers expecting Notion content, oopsie)
